ILLUSTRATION & GRAPHIC RECORDING
IT’s tIME TO TAKE THE complicated things - like neuroscience, THE DNA OF WHALE SNOT, or the toxicity of plastics in our oceans - and condense them into a visual story.
Data is often easier to inwardly digest (and is way more fun to look at) when delivered in colour and given form and meaning.
WELCOME TO YOUR AMAZING BRAIN
The event was the first of it's kind connecting health, meditation and wellness with teachings about the fundamentals brain science and neuropsychology. This diagram connects the effects of meditation with different areas of the brain, to show the benefits it can have at a cellular level. I learned so much from this session and the information sticks with me to this day, stored and tagged away by my incredible hippocampus! Thank you brain.
Here's Zara from Humour australia to tell us
THAT TOO MUCH SERIOUSNESS IS NOT GOOD FOR US or good for business.
Is she having a laugh?
Zara found me on LinkedIn after seeing the Amazing Brain scribe I created for Chelsea. This flow of work meant I found myself piecing together her TEDx Melbourne talk the Epidemic of Over-Seriousness as a graphic, it meant I got to listen to the talk several times. Embedding some really important reminders to be playful and enjoy life and work. I am grateful for these reminders.

REBECCA PRINCE-RUIZ TALK ON
THE STORY OF PLASTIC FREE JULY
Rebecca spoke at the Beyond Plastic Pollution conference in Sydney about the development of the Plastic Free July movement and how she has navigated the campaign from an idea to a global phenomenon in a matter of years. Will you take part next July? You can choose to drop single-use plastic for the whole month, or just go without the top four: Plastic bottles, straws, bags and coffee cups. Too easy!
